Cherokee Antique Row is located on Cherokee Street, just east of South Jefferson, within the Cherokee-Lemp Historic District, home also to the Chatillon-DeMenil and the Lemp Mansions, on St. Louis' south side. Situated within an old neighborhood shopping district of the city, Cherokee Street found new life as a gathering place for small antiques dealers about 30 years ago. The antique shops attract all kinds of antique seekers, whether they are looking for old jewelry, furniture, books, architectural antiques, signs or just plain junk. Five blocks of stores await visitors, and most are open every day but Monday.
